Coeur d'Alene, Day 1

When Pops (Mr. Ronnie) asked Brett and I if our schedules would allow us to go on a trip to Coeur d'Alene Idaho we immediately shouted YES!  Ok, I first asked, Idaho!?!?!  But Brett assured me this was a trip we wouldn't want to miss.  This may have been because Coeur d'Alene is home to a 5 star golf course with the only movable floating green- that's apparently a big deal ;)  We were both so excited to go on this trip.  It was the first real vacation we had taken since we were pregnant with John William.. and in these past two years we've sold a house, built a house, and had a baby... with a few things in between.  We began counting down to this trip!

The morning came and we loaded up to be at the airport at 5.. this little man wasn't ready to be up!

we got to the airport and checked all our things in... including this little cutie

I have to say, he did so good on the flight

we had several options to keep him occupied

and we had all hands on deck to help

He did fuss a little bit, but c'mon, we were on a plane for 4 and half hours!  And to this little daddy's boy, everything is better with a snuggle.

Once we got to the city of Coeur d'Alene we got somewhat settled into our rooms, and then headed to the golf course for dinner.

here it is... the infamous floating green, #14 at Coeur d'Alene

the scenery really was breathtaking

this trip was business mixed with pleasure for Mr. Ronnie, so we got to reap the rewards of his labor

here we all are!  The whole family, minus Ashley, who couldn't make it due to her rotations during her last year of PT school.  She was definitely missed!!

This will be a future foursome as soon as the littlest is able.  I know that is something they are all looking forward to!

The company that was hosting us had several events that we thoroughly enjoyed.  This opening dinner was one of them!

They had several local wild animals to look at

The wolves were John William's favorite

he LOVED them

the owls were cool too

and the food.. this was the only picture of the spread that I got.  Plank grilled salmon.  So good.

It was the first day of our vacation, and time to kick back and relax!
